EXPUNCTIONS

The Texas Code of Criminal Procedure allows some people in Texas to apply for expunctions. I have substantial experience applying for expunctions in this state.

About Expunctions

An expunction is a procedure that removes information about an arrest from public records. After an expunction has been completed, your lenders, landlords, and employers won’t be able to find it when they perform background checks. This means that it will be easier for you to get a job, find a lease, qualify for credit or gain other benefits.

Expunctions are not always available. In general, you may be able to pursue this option if you were arrested for an alleged crime that never led to a conviction. You may also be able to have the record expunged if the arrest led to a deferred adjudication.

How I Can Help

I have in-depth knowledge of Texas expunction laws. If you are interested in pursuing this option, I can review your case and determine whether you meet the requirements of Texas law. If you qualify for an expunction, I will help you take the necessary steps.
